Choose a text file from your computer. You can use any plain text file, such as a Word document or an email message. The file must be saved as a .txt file. Click the Browse button to locate your file on your computer's hard drive.
Click Open to open the text file in Notepad.
Edit the text as needed, and then click Save
Your text is automatically saved so you don't need to worry about losing the content.
